Annihilation from Within: The Ultimate Threat to Nations

Annihilation from Within: The Ultimate Threat to Nations - Fred Charles Iklé Here‘s my big question about this book: Is Annihilation from Within Fred Charles Iklé’s deathbed a-few-years-before-he-died confession of what his buddies have in store for us? If I had no idea who Fred Charles Iklé was, this would have been a very confusing book, and my review probably would have looked something like this: Hey! I’m reading something really weird. It’s supposed to be about nuclear terrorists, but the first whole, like third of the book is about genetic engineering and eugenics and building super smart computers… what does that have to do with anything?? It’s like so totally unrelated. Then it starts talking about the Cold War and nuclear weapons. I get how that’s relevant. Then it gets into all these ideas about how some groups take over governments, like Lenin after the Russian Revolution. I guess Iklé thinks that could happen here. Scary stuff! Oh, the inside cover says he’s an expert on nuclear weapons. Henry Kissinger seems to like it, from the blurb on the back!Ah, youthful naiveté. Fortunately, I do know something about F.C. Iklé. Like the dust jacket says, he’s been a high-ranking presidential advisor on nuclear strategy since the Ford administration. Before that, he was a military-industrial insider, working for the RAND Corporation. Rounding out his resume, he’s been a "resident-at-large" (their term, not mine) of the Council on Foreign Relations, an unelected group of public policymakers whose long-term goal is the surrender of American sovereignty to a global banking oligarchy. Yeah, wait… it gets better. Iklé (along with Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and others) is one of the signatories of the neoconservative "Project for a New American Century"‘s now-famous "Rebuilding America’s Defenses" point paper, which advocated (in 1998) an American military strategy for global "full-spectrum” dominance, a Dept of Homeland Security, and which opined three years before 9/11:"…the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event––like a new Pearl Harbor." When the events of September 11, 2001 magically answered this wish, and when the Bush II administration was not successful in preventing an investigation of the attacks, Iklé was among the members of the infamous 9/11 Commission, which whitewashed the entire affair, essentially concluding (a) that the attacks’ success was due to a series of crazy, unrepeatable and unforeseeable coincidences; (b) that nobody in the U.S. government bore any responsibility for the attacks’ success; and (c ) that the no other suspects besides Osama bin Laden and his coterie were behind it (i.e. that nobody within our own military/industrial/intelligence community could possibly have collaborated with the foreign terrorists). In short, Fred Charles Iklé was (he died last year) very much an insider in the global oligarchical collectivist movement some (including me) call the "New World Order." When he writes a book called Annihilation from Within, it’s probably worth checking out, even if you probably won’t like what he has to say.So what’s he got to say?Part 1Well, as I mention above, the first third of the book relates to eugenics, genetic engineering, and trans-humanism. It’s heavily referenced with papers by the "usual suspects" of eugenics, including Ray Kurzweil, Bertrand Russell, and Rockefeller University’s leading geneticist (and fifth president) Dr. Joshua Lederberg. Iklé throws in a few winks and tips of the hat to (Trilateral Commission co-founder) Zbigniew Brzezinski and references a Club of Rome paper, for good measure, so I think you can see where this is going. Most of the lay public will probably breeze through this part, unsure of its significance, however anybody familiar with the New World Order will recognize all these associations. Technologically, we stand at the doorstep of amazing medical advances, which hold the potential to dramatically extend life. Naturally, if we extend life for everybody, it will result in massive overpopulation of the Earth. This problem may be partly "solved" by limiting access to life-prolonging technologies to just a small number of "haves" at the top of the proverbial pyramid. "Have-nots" will be welcome to keep dying at the old rate, or ideally even faster. But just dying at the old rate won’t satisfy most of Iklé’s buddies. Bertrand Russell and others advocate clearing the planet of riff-raff like you and I with massive depopulation schemes (mostly wars and manufactured plagues). That’s what eugenics has to do with Annihilation from Within. But if all the "little people" are gone, who will keep the basic utilities going? Who will wash the dishes and take out the garbage at the giant post-apocalyptic party the Elites are planning? Believe it or not, they’ve spent a lot of time thinking about that, and their answer seems to be twofold: (a) keep around a manageable number of "have-nots" as slaves, and (b) do as much work as possible with artificial intelligence. Oh, AI is a big part of this vision! A.I. will be the servant that never talks back, never wants better conditions, and which never worries the Elites about possible uprisings. (Sci-fi authors be damned!) Iklé bends our ear about the wonders of A.I. which await "mankind" (Elite-kind), just around the corner. He tries to tie A.I. into the book’s theme by explaining the national security implications super-intelligence will have, and he predicts a technological race between the superpowers of our day (presumably China, the EU and the USA; perhaps Russia or India) to maintain primacy in this arena. It feels a bit forced here, and I can imagine a lot of the artificial intelligence stuff would probably seem pretty mysterious to a reader unfamiliar with the New World Order (NWO). My take on this first part of the book is that Iklé is summarizing the history and intent of the NWO, to show that he’s clear on their "big picture", and that what follows will take this agenda into account.ANNUIT COEPTIS: "Our favored undertaking(s) Translating ANNUIT COEPTIS ANNUIT means to nod assent, to favor, to smile upon. COEPTIS means undertakings, endeavors, beginnings. Annuit coeptis means "favors (lit., gives the nod to) undertakings." The subject must be supplied. Who favors? The Eye (Providence) does. The verb annuit can be either present tense or perfect tense, therefore an accurate translation of the motto is: "Providence favors our undertakings" or "Providence has favored our undertakings." (The word "our" is supplied.)It has also been translated as: "He favors our undertakings" or "He has prospered our endeavors."The meaning of this motto is better understood when seen in its original classical context. NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM: "A New Order of the Ages" (i.e. "the New World Order")Part 2The second part of the book is a long-winded history of nuclear arms, throughout the Cold War and into the post-Soviet era. This provides a handy platform for our grandstanding author to name-drop all the famous Cold Warriors he’s rubbed elbows with (Teller, Oppenheimer, Kissinger, Reagan), and to list the highpoints of his resume, for anybody interested. His ego really shines through here, and why not? The guy’s sitting at the top of global government. To get an idea of the man’s self-esteem, check out this little snippet from page 60: "I shall now shed some light into this world of darkness, a world that will confront all nations with security threats they have never faced before." Honestly, who the fuck talks like that? Fred Charles Iklé does, that’s who. My take on part 2 here is that Iklé is establishing his credibility as a nuclear expert, so you will take part 3 seriously.Part 3Finally, around page 70, we get to hear something about the whole "annihilation from within" business. The idea is that the leader of a fringe political movement, or maybe a cult, or some other small group will somehow gain control over nuclear weapons in this country, and will use them to create domestic chaos. How he gets access is not explained, and would probably be damn near impossible if the terrorist is an outsider, but could easily be arranged if he’s working with NWO insiders. When the nukes are set off, opportunists high in the existing government will rise up to seize power, establishing a military dictatorship. This parallel operation of a "crazy outsider" working in collaboration with powerful insiders is further developed in the text. It’s called the "Dual Power" approach, and Iklé points out that Hitler used it successfully with the Reichstag fire (blamed on Communists). Arguably Bush used it in a limited way with Bin Laden, and Iklé makes cases that Basque separatists have tried to use it in Spain, and that Sinn Fein tried to position themselves to use it in the United Kingdom. Where’s the public supposed to be while all this is going on? Frightened out of their minds, that’s where. Experts agree: the general population will gladly accept whatever laws the new dictators institute in the name of maintaining order and protecting them from the officially-named scapegoat. Moreover, the public won’t question the official story of what happened, because the idea of an evil outsider to rally against is comforting, and the idea that one’s current leaders had anything to do with this plan would be too terrifying to process. Also, the public has been intensively conditioned to disbelieve the possibility of conspiracies, so anybody suggesting it in this case will be ridiculed.Whoa. That’s a pretty detailed scenario. Iklé has been in a lot of think tanks in his career, and has probably played out a whole hell of a lot of different scenarios over the years. Yet this is the only one he’s decided to write a book about. Funny, that. He must think it’s really likely, or that we’re particularly vulnerable to this sort of attack.============================================So we’re entering Opinion Territory now; I mean to be very clear about that. I’m going to throw some stuff out here that some of you will get a good laugh at, and others can take seriously and give some thought to, if you like.Obviously a lot of time and thought went into this book. Perhaps Annihilation from Within isn’t speculation or some contingency scenario; perhaps it’s a fucking plan. Is it the plan, that Elites will definitely carry out? Maybe not. Maybe it’s one of many plans being debated, but it’s one Iklé feels is very likely to be tried. Perhaps (and this is all speculation here) Iklé wrote this just a few years before his death, when he was starting to contemplate his mortality, and what sort of world he was leaving behind. He may have had some second thoughts about the hell on Earth his cronies at the CFR were planning. Maybe some guilt even crept into his old adept brain. Maybe this book is intended as a warning to the public to be on guard against this sort of trick. That’s one possibility. Here’s another possibility: maybe Iklé loves the plan and disdains the public, so he’s essentially waving all this under the public’s noses, because he thinks we’re too stupid to recognize what it is, or we’re too weak to do anything about it. Maybe telling us the plan ahead of time is predictive programming (Google it) or part of some Masonic "hiding in plain sight" ritual. Honestly, engineers of terrorism seem to kind of like that sort of thing… like the report warning Bush in August 2001 about "Bin Laden determined to strike in the US", or that 1999 "Lone Gunman" episode about terrorists flying a plane into the World Trade Center. Nobody thinks anything of it at the time, and anti-conspiracists all rise up to brush it off as a coincidence afterwards. So I kinda do think it is a serious plan for another false-flag terror attack in America, in which the terrorist is a puppet or patsy of the global finance oligarchy, and nukes will be the means of destabilizing and finally taking full overt control of the American government. The sleeper agents waiting on the inside to take control include members of the CFR. Any of this (or none of it) could be true. There’s really no downside to Iklé revealing the plan in this way. He gets a book published out of it, with all the attention that earns him. If the plan never gets put into operation, who cares? It was just a book about some theory he had. If the plan gets put into effect and fails, Iklé can say "I’m glad somebody out there read my book! Good thing I warned you!". If the plan gets put into effect and succeeds, the public will never be able to do anything about it. Neither he nor any of his CFR buddies are close enough to the details to get fingered, and they wouldn’t know how to put together dirty work like that, even if they wanted to. That’s what the CIA is for.On the back of the book, we have a nice little endorsement from buddy and fellow Illuminatus Henry A. Kissinger (the 1973 Nobel Peace Prize winner responsible for the bombing of innocent Cambodian civilians in 1969; way to go with the short-term memory, Nobel committee!): "With an engrossing interpretation of our history since the Modern Age, Fred Iklé explains this new era where the survival of leading nations will be threatened from within."I’m not fluent in Kissinger-ese, but I think this roughly translates to: "I endorse Fred Iklé’s plan to use nuclear weapons on American citizens, so we can start a military dictatorship in this country."I’m pretty sure Kissinger is all-in for this one. Iklé…? I’m not so sure. On the very last two pages, he starts to get kind of misty about our old democratic system: "To find our way through these times of trouble we will have to reject the siren songs of new ideologies that promise security for everyone, but at the price of accepting a totalitarian dictatorship."Hmmmm… help me out here. What’s the etiquette? When you publish a book about nuclear terrorism being used as a springboard to military dictatorship, maybe you sort of have to say something like that, to show that you don’t really want it to happen. On the other hand, maybe this is Iklé's tearful farewell to American democracy... like a matador bonding with the bull after a long and satisfying match, before he puts the sword in. Or maybe it’s genuine. Maybe after five decades of planning a totalitarian hell-on-Earth for the masses, this old Illuminatus is getting all soft on us.What to do about all this? I don’t know, but if a nuke goes off in the USA, and the media starts telling you that it was a goathearder who lives in a cave, or yet another loner/loser who somehow managed to fool the entire military-industrial system… maybe we should think twice about whether that story really makes sense, and whether there might be some alternative possibilities the mainstream media isn’t putting on the menu. Good Luck! "For we are opposed, around the world, by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence; in infiltration instead of invasion; on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice; on guerillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific, and political operations. Its preparations are concealed not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined, its dissenters are silenced, not praised; no expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed. It conducts the cold war, in short, with a wartime discipline no democracy would ever hope to wish to match. ..."-JFK, Speech, American Newspaper Publishers Assoc., Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, New York, NY, 4/27/1961
