Generation X

Generation X: Tales for an Accelerated Culture - Douglas Coupland Dated, with a very "90's" feel. Basically twentysomethings fail to outgrow the angst, fear, and uncertainty of the teen years... Is it society's fault, or their own? The characters are somewhat annoying, but kind of fun in small doses, in their own uneasy, delinquent, Peter Pan sort of way. I'm not sure this is profound social commentary for the 90's any more than Dharma Bums was for the 50's, but if you don't ask too much of it, this isn't such a bad book.
