Genius!! Somewhere between observational humor and anecdote, Parkinson observes the behavior of large organizations, and with understated British wit, points out their absurdities. Some of it is hyperbolic for comic effect, like the hillarious travel reimbursement form, and some of it is closer to reality- like the minutes from the finance meeting planning to fund an atomic reactor and a bicycle shed. I have read and reread this book so many times, and I still burst out laughing at some of Parkinson's observations. This is a great gift for anybody in a managerial or executive position.
