Kanji Starter

Kanji Starter - Daiki Kusuya This book is most useful for people who have the good fortune to be living or visiting Japan as they are trying to learn Japanese. It fits easily in your pocket, so if you are walking around and see a kanji character you don't recognize, just pull this book out, and learn on the spot! There isn't much text to bog you down- mostly pictoral mnemonics. If you are at home or in a classroom trying to learn Japanese, the book is still helpful, but that is the time you should get a more detailed book to study the stroke order, and maybe get some more detailed information on the origin and evolution of the character.
